Helen Shearer Porcelain Jewellery

­­Helen Shearer makes a range of framed porcelain illustrations.
 
After graduating from the University of Ulster’s College of Art and Design, Helen spent over 30 years in Art Education all the while continuing her own practice in ceramics. She now works full-time from the studio that she shares with her husband and potter Rory Shearer.
 
Helen’s influences are taken from the natural world. Her framed porcelain illustrations carry a strong rural narrative and are inspired by the rustic countryside and culture of her homeland, Co. Antrim.
