William Morris Red Strawberry Thief 132 x 178 Cotton Floral Tablecloth
The licensed William Morris Strawberry Thief design was first produced in 1883.
The design was a triumph for Morris as it marked the perfecting of the indigo-discharge technique of printing at Merton Abbey.
The design was inspired by William Morris’s observation of the thrushes under the strawberry nets at his home, Kelmscott Manor.
Measurements: The tablecloth measures 132 cm across the width, 178 cm long and has a hemmed edge.
As with all our products, our William Morris Red Strawberry Thief design has been printed and manufactured in the north of England.
The tablecloth is machine washable at 40 degrees.
